Text description of the architects. The project covers an area of 2 ha in the Tay Ho Tay New Urban Zone. The aim is to design a complex for multi-level education from pre-school to high school, including personal development facilities such as a performance center and a swimming school. The architectural features of the Dewey Schools manifest a modern and liberal ambiance and stand as landmarks in the wider country.

The complex consists of three main functional zones: the classroom openings are positioned mainly along the north-south axis; the common area (canteen, library, multifunctional gym) is centrally located to ensure direct access from all directions; and the semi-detached administration area. The corridor system bridges all functional zones into a fixed unit. In between are the play, sports and green areas. The main entrance is highlighted by a large concave corridor that curves backwards to create an open and welcoming space.

The design also takes into account the external flow of natural elements, human movement and traffic. The facades are created with volumetric blocks that place vertical and horizontal lines. The vertical parasols are placed on the longer sides of the project to control the amount of sun exposure. The internal circulation is also carefully calculated, each route is reserved for a specific user to avoid traffic jams. The three entrances direct one-way traffic: one lane is for private vehicles to pick up students, the remainder is for the buses and the theater swim school block.

The school is generally friendly and practical. The building design arises from the shape of the property itself, with respect for the environment, social responsibility and sustainability. This is to ensure that students at The Dewey schools can experience an ideal learning environment, where modern facilities do not detract from the relevant and homely atmosphere of the place.
